Who We Are

We are a church of Christ, committed to the most biblical practices. As Christians, both individually and collectively, we form the church. We are baptized believers, raised to walk in “newness of life” (Romans 6:3-4) through faith in God’s salvation through Christ (Colossians 2:12). While we are not perfect, we are forgiven (Romans 3:23-24; 1 John 1:8-9).

We are a diverse group of Christians of different ages and backgrounds, with varying incomes and education levels, who are unashamed to bear our Lord's name. That is why the Bible refers to groups like us as churches of Christ (Romans 16:16), or simply, the church. You may hear us call each other brother or sister because we see ourselves as a family (Ephesians 2:19). You will not hear men being honored for their position, wealth, or fame (Matthew 23:8-12).

Each church of Christ is independent and self-governing. You’ll notice similar practices and teachings across different groups since all of us base our beliefs on the Bible. However, each group is unique, just as every individual is one of a kind.

What We Believe

We believe that the scriptures are literally God-breathed. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

Our goal, and heart's desire, is to do what God says to do and to be what God would have us to be. Jesus said: "Why call ye me Lord, Lord, and do not the things I say." (Luke 6:46). Therefore, It is our goal is to follow everything God commands while avoiding anything He has not authorized, The Sweet Psalmist tells us "God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him." (Psalm 89:7). We believe, we must have a "thus saith the Lord" for all things pertaining to God, and to his worship. ""And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."(Col. 3:17). We believe God is the final Authority in all things. We derive Biblical Authority by Direct command, Apostolic authority, or Necessary inference.

The Bible is clear on worship. God is the object of our worship. He is the focus of our gatherings., we lift up the name of Jesus and remember the Great Sacrifice He made for us, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (Jn. 14:6). "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12). We are also instructed where to worship. Where are we to worship is in His church. When we are to worship, is the 1st day of the week, How are we to worship? It must be in spirit and in Truth. (Jn. 4:24). God is the focus of our gatherings, and we lift up the name of Jesus Christ. Our worship is heartfelt, but it's not just about emotions; it’s about obeying God’s will for our worship.

“Let all things be done decently and in order” (I Corinthians 14:40).

If you value the pure Word of God over politics in the pulpit, you've come to the right place.

We are a church of Christ, aiming to be exactly as intended, nothing more, nothing less. We are independent of any denomination and have no earthly headquarters since Jesus is the sole head of the church (Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18).

We have no creed or statement of faith. God gave us His book, and that is what we follow. We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. We wear no other name than the one Jesus's disciples wore in the first century: Christian (Acts 11:26).

As individual Christians, we see serving others as our privilege. It is why we are here. It is how we serve the Lord. To us, it is a joy! (I Timothy 6:17-19)

In summary:

We hold that all Scripture is divinely inspired and supplies everything needed to lead a life that pleases God. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:3) As a result, we seek to worship as the early church did when established by Christ and the Apostles.

Our goal is to follow pure Christianity without added creeds; that’s why our congregation is led by a group of men called Elders (1 Tim 3:1-8), why our ministers do not handle confessions, and why we simply call each other brother or sister.
